I have tried both. LRP is definitely stronger. I have bought it with the LRP effaclar kit. The cleanser used together with cream was too drying, but later I switched to hada labo premium lotion and rosete ceramide gel. In fact, premium lotion alone was enough to avoid dryness. So, I guess a lot depends on hydrating products you use together.

It has a thick creamy texture which spreads easily and sinks into the skin quickly. It leaves my skin feeling pretty good with normal hydration.
